OBJECTIVE OF THE FEDERATION

1. To achieve the­ ultimate goal of an accident-free nation, by ensuring that every driving school and instructor dedicates themselves as Ambassadors for road safety.


2. To ensure that all member driving schools adhere to a standardized training curriculum, and maintain consistency in imparting driving instructions with proper training aids and equipment provided by the Federation.


3. To implement zero-incident policy by ensuring comprehensive training methodologies, and overseeing adherence to safe driving practices. Also, to conduct frequent workshops for the driving instructors on modern technology and advancements to improve their teaching skills.


4. To hold regular discussions amongst the driving schools for improving the curriculum and methods.


5. To ensure the protection and security of TNDSOF members and help raise the quality of their driving schools to meet international standards.


6. To propagate road safety awareness to all citizens, through various annual campaigns and support underprivileged students to get driving licences.


7. To help set up Committees in schools and colleges to impart free road safety trainings and promote the message of good Samaritan among younger generation so more number of precious lives can be saved.


8. To encourage more female drivers on our roads and support them to start driving commercial vehicles.


9. To identify accident-prone zones on roads and highways, and create awareness campaigns in collaboration with the State Highways and Transport Departments.


10. To conduct free medical camps for driving instructors, and provide training to farmers on safe handling of agricultural vehicles. Also, to create awareness about organ and blood donation camps among the public.
